Burgkidz YouTube Publisher ("the Application") is an internal video publishing tool operated by Burgkidz. This Privacy Policy explains how the Application accesses, uses, stores, and protects Google user data through the YouTube Data API.

1. Information We Access

With authorization from the Google account holder, the Application may access:

  • YouTube channel information, including channel name and channel ID.

  • Video information, including video IDs, titles, descriptions, tags, visibility, upload status, and processing status.

  • OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens required to access the YouTube Data API.

The Application requests the following Google OAuth permissions:

  • YouTube Upload: To upload authorized videos to the connected YouTube channel.

  • YouTube Read-Only: To retrieve channel and video information for verification and publishing management.

The Application does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or unrelated Google account data.

2. How We Use Information

Google user data is used only to support the Application's authorized YouTube publishing functions, including:

  • Uploading videos to the official Burgkidz YouTube channel.

  • Managing supported video metadata and publishing settings.

  • Checking video upload and processing status.

  • Verifying successful publishing.

  • Maintaining publishing records and preventing duplicate uploads.

The Application does not use Google user data for advertising targeting or sale to data brokers.

3. Data Storage and Security

The Application operates through locally managed software.

OAuth credentials and authorization tokens are stored on a locally controlled Windows computer. Publishing logs may contain video identifiers, publishing timestamps, file references, and upload status information.

Access to these files is intended to be limited to authorized Burgkidz personnel.

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

The Application communicates with Google's authorized APIs to perform video publishing and verification operations.

Google user data is not sold to advertisers or unrelated third parties.

Information may be disclosed when required by applicable law or when necessary to protect the security and integrity of the Application.

Any additional integration involving Google user data must comply with applicable Google API policies and the authorization granted by the account holder.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

OAuth credentials are retained while authorization remains necessary for the Application's publishing functions.

Publishing records are retained only as reasonably necessary for operational verification, duplicate prevention, troubleshooting, and compliance purposes.

Authorized users may request deletion of locally stored authorization credentials and associated user data by contacting:

Upon a valid deletion request, the operator will review and delete applicable locally stored information, subject to any legally required retention.

6. Revoking Google Account Access

Users may revoke the Application's Google account access at any time through their Google Account permissions:

Revoking authorization prevents the Application from continuing to access Google user data using the revoked credentials.

Users may also contact Burgkidz to request deletion of locally stored OAuth credentials and related data.

7. Google API Services User Data Policy

Burgkidz YouTube Publisher's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Application's functionality, data practices, or applicable requirements change.

Material changes affecting Google user data will be communicated to affected authorized users, and additional consent will be requested when required.

The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
